4 Can’t-Miss Things to Do in Clarksville This Weekend (April 24–26, 2026)

If you’re looking for something fun to do in Clarksville, TN this weekend, you’re in luck. Saturday, April 25, 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest event days of the spring — with everything from a downtown family festival to the Nashville Kats home opener at F&M Bank Arena.

As a Clarksville Realtor, one of my favorite parts of this job is helping new neighbors discover just how much this community has to offer. Whether you’ve lived here for decades or you’re house-hunting and trying to get a feel for the area, here are four can’t-miss events happening in and around Clarksville this weekend.

  1. Family Fun Day at Downtown Commons — Saturday, April 25

When: Saturday, April 25, 2026 | 11 a.m.–3 p.m. | Where: Downtown Commons, Clarksville, TN | Cost: Free

Bring the whole crew downtown for an afternoon of interactive inflatables, balloon artists, face painting, and lawn games. Food trucks will be on-site, so plan to make an afternoon of it. Downtown Commons is the heartbeat of Clarksville’s revitalized downtown — and one of the spots I always recommend buyers visit when they’re checking out neighborhoods like Historic Downtown, Madison Street, and the Riverside corridor.

Month of the Military Child Carnival — Saturday, April 25

When: Saturday, April 25, 2026 | 11 a.m.–2 p.m. | Where: Cohen Clinic parking lot, 775 Weatherly Drive, Clarksville | Cost: Free

April is the Month of the Military Child, and Clarksville — home to Fort Campbell and one of the largest military communities in the country — does it right. This year’s carnival features DIY carnival games with prizes, bounce houses, a dunk tank, magic shows, ring toss, carnival food, and food trucks. If you’re a military family relocating to Clarksville (welcome, by the way — I work with PCS moves all the time), this is a great chance to connect with other military families and get a feel for the supportive community waiting for you here.

Nashville Kats Season Opener — Saturday, April 25

When: Saturday, April 25, 2026 | Where: F&M Bank Arena, Clarksville, TN

The Nashville Kats kick off their season right here in Clarksville at F&M Bank Arena — and there’s nothing quite like the energy of a home opener. F&M Bank Arena has quickly become one of the crown jewels of downtown Clarksville since opening, drawing concerts, sporting events, and Austin Peay basketball to the area. If you’re new to town or considering a move, the buzz around F&M Bank Arena is a perfect example of why so many buyers are drawn to downtown and near-downtown neighborhoods right now. Walkability + nightlife + sports = serious quality of life.

Roxy Regional Theatre Season 44 Gala — Saturday, April 25

When: Saturday, April 25, 2026 | VIP cocktail hour 5 p.m., cocktails at 6 p.m. followed by dinner | Where: Roxy Regional Theatre, Downtown Clarksville | Cost: $150 individual; $500 half-table sponsor; $2,000 full table sponsor

For a more grown-up evening, the Roxy Regional Theatre’s Season 44 Gala is the place to be. The Roxy has been a downtown Clarksville institution for decades, and the gala is your chance to see what’s coming next season while supporting one of the city’s most beloved arts organizations.

Thinking About Making Clarksville Home?

One weekend in Clarksville and it’s easy to see why this is one of the fastest-growing cities in Tennessee. Between Fort Campbell, Austin Peay State University, the booming downtown, and easy access to Nashville, Clarksville offers small-town warmth with big-city amenities — and a housing market that still gives buyers more home for their money than most of Middle Tennessee.

If you’re considering a move to Clarksville or looking to sell your current home, I’d love to help. As a local Realtor who lives, works, and plays here, I know our neighborhoods, schools, and market inside and out. Call or text me, or visit callkatiechilds.com to start the conversation.
